Last night in Beverly Hills, Slipknot premiered their much anticipated documentary, "Day Of The Gusano." Lucky fans were able to join members of Slipknot for the premiere of "DAY OF THE GUSANO" at the Ahrya Fine Arts by Laemmle and following the movie, fans were then treated to a special Q&A.
As described on the band's Facebook page, "Day Of The Gusano documents Slipknot's historic Knotfest Mexico City performance and delves deeply into the lives of the band's fans as well. Slipknot's fans, better known as maggots, are essential to the band's legacy. This highly anticipated show captures the chaos, excitement and community that has been cultivated over the past 20+ years."
About midpoint through the screening last night, attendees got real involved in the movie and started to jumping up and down and a full on mosh pit broke out, a friendly one of course. While on the screen, there was a live scene from the Mexico City concert of the band playing "Spit It Out" and just like every time they play this song, a pit like this always happens. During the Q&A, the members said that was a big highlight of the night for them.
Trevor Laake was there and recorded the wild moment below:
If you missed the screening then don't worry because "Day Of The Gusano" will be out in Blu-ray, DVD and audio formats on Oct. 20 from Eagle Rock Entertainment.
