As their Summer headlining tour prepares to come to an end, 311 are continuing to prove their reputable momentum by packing in large spaced arenas across the US. This time on the road was also a memorable one for the guys, not only did the band get to perform new songs from their twelfth album that was released in June but they also celebrated the 20th anniversary of their 1997 album "Transistor" on August 5th.
Their twelfth album, "Mosaic," has been on a fast track to success ever since debuting on June 23rd. The album was released via BMG and debuted at #6 on the Billboard Top 200 Albums Chart which marks the multi-platinum group’s 10th consecutive Top 10 Album on the chart. Of 311’s 10 charting albums, five have debuted at #6 on the chart or higher. This band is clearly unstoppable. MOSAIC features 17 songs. With regards to the current single “Too Much To Think,” Nick Hexum states, “This song is about the highs and lows of life. Seeking an escape from the every day stresses of life."
In support of MOSAIC, 311--singer/guitarist NICK HEXUM, singer/DJ S.A. MARTINEZ, drummer CHAD SEXTON, bassist P-NUT and guitarist TIM MAHONEY--are currently in the midst of their extensive headlining tour of North America for the 18th summer in a row.
