Vans Warped Tour is coming around to it's last few dates and hit the big city of Kansas City (Bonner Springs), KS two days ago and for Knocked Loose it was an eventful one. A video surfaced showing members of Knocked Loose including vocalist Bryan Garris having to jump down from the stage to help crowd surfers safely over the barricade. In the video you can also see security standing within five feet or so, idly by and laughing instead of helping.
The KS date of the tour took place at Providence Medical Center Amphitheater in Bonner Springs and security is hired on and employed via the venue grounds, not through Warped Tour. Seth Kean was there to witness it and he shared the video yesterday on Facebook with the following caption:
"It was pathetic watching Bryan and other band members catch crowd surfers because security wasn't doing their job yesterday. Security did at least have time to point and laugh, make obscene gestures, and mouth off to performers/staff."
Safety at music events has been a big topic of discussion lately and this video only makes concert goers even more concerned. As we have said before more and more bands have become advocates for fan safety at shows and Knocked Loose have now been added to that list.
