San Jose’s Get Married and LA based power pop/indie band Tiny Stills have announced a full US Tour taking them across the country, in support of their latest releases. Get Married are supporting their forthcoming LP Songs For the Sleepless due out on August 17th via Asian Man Records and Wiretap Records. Tiny Stills are fresh off a highly anticipated second album Laughing Into the Void that came out in June.
Get Married are eternal optimists. Teens of nowhere who lie dreaming in leather jackets. Awake in a bedroom, they listen to the rain and sing ballads of the night you met.
In 2016 the band released the Into the Cosmos 7” on Wiretap Records, a four song EP that celebrates everything about having, holding, longing, and losing.
[Since then, they’ve fine-tuned what heartstrings they have left for their first full-length. Due out on August 17th via Asian Man Records and Wiretap Records, Songs For The Sleepless finds the band doubling down on every bet they’ve made, going for broke in a night race to destiny.]
Tiny Stills is a power pop band from Los Angeles influenced by Courtney Barnett, That Dog, and 90s/00s rock. After a last minute lineup change left an opening on a national tour with Bayside’s Anthony Raneri and A.W. in 2015, front woman Kailynn West stepped in at the last minute to complete the tour as Tiny Stills and has been running ever since.
The band’s highly anticipated second album Laughing Into the Void out 6/1/18 is full of tattoo-worthy lyrics, brutal honesty, crunchy guitars and catchy melodies that help you remember that even the worst days have a silver lining- at least you’re not alone.
