Paradise Rock Club - Boston, MA
February 6, 2019
Last Wednesday night at Paradise Trippie Redd and crew came through Boston to vivacious crowd that waited through freezing rain in what was probably one of the longest entry lines in the clubs recent history. First up on the bill was Coi Leray repping her brand new album EC2 she got the crowd off their feat invested in the show from the jump. Then as a total shock to me next up was Lil Keed who I could find no evidence of being listed on the bill. Lil Keed took the stage with a whole crew who participated in his whole set often pulling fans phones on stage for some exclusive in the moment insta stories. Lil Keed took the crowd to the next level and prepared them for Trippie’s much anticipated arrival.
Finally, after much distress from the crowd over the time between sets, Trippie came bouncing out, shoe less as he settled into the stage and became acquainted with the crowd. In what seemed like a truly effortless performance, Trippie plowed through a long setlist with much help from the crowd vastly pulling from his 2018 full length studio release Life’s a Trip.
