BETWEEN FRIENDS - ‘affection’
The DIY-based laptop dream pop project group BETWEEN FRIENDS released “affection”, a self-directed, visual love-letter to the ambiance and atmosphere of Los Angeles this week via Highsnobiety, who called the group “your new musical obsession.”
This is the third release from their playlist series we just need some time together, which lyrically touches on the emotional wear and tear of a relationship - falling into a black hole of disappointment, but somehow finding satisfaction in it at the same time.

Bloodline - ‘Step Back”
Dallas alternatve-metalcore four-piece Bloodline will release their second full length album, Better View, produced by Dierkes, via Stay Sick Recordings on March 29, 2019. It is available for pre-order here. To celebrate the impending release, the band has dropped the video for the new single "Step Back."
Emarosa - ‘Cautious’
Early in the week, Emarosa released the third single from their forthcoming album Peach Club, set for release February 8th. Billboard broke the news on the new music, calling the track "guitar-heavy and vibrant in its synth-pop tendencies.
"The song navigates through post-breakup decisions and the way those choices can define you." Sex after heartbreak can tell you a lot about who you are," frontman Bradley Walden says of "Cautious," "If you move on, you move on. If you can't move on, maybe that was love you had."
Emarosa will celebrate the release of Peach Club with a handful of dates, spread nationwide. All five American dates can be found below.

Gideon - “No Love/No One”
Gideon could have just released one new track today but instead dropped two heavy bangers as an EP to hold fans over until they release their next full length. The EP features the title track “No Love/No One” and the second titled “2 Deep” and is being labeled as the bands prelude to their upcoming LP.
Upon the release of the EP, Gideon shared via social media “We start tracking a full length album TODAY, so this is only the beginning.”

Lil Skies - “Name In The Sand”
Critically-acclaimed rapper Lil Skies has unveiled the official video for his track "Name In The Sand" - directed by Nick Jandora. The track, produced by Menoh Beats and formerly only accessible on Soundcloud, is now available at all DSPs and streaming services HERE.
Announced recently, Skies will take his energetic live set to major festivals this year including Rolling Loud in Miami on Sunday, May 12th and Wireless Festival in London on Friday, July 5th.
Masked Intruder - “Please Come Back To Me”
Earlier this week, Masked Intruder have released a new song called "Please Come Back To Me". Fans can listen to it now exclusively on AltPress.com. The song is taken from their upcoming new album III out March 1 through Pure Noise Records.
For the new album, the band recruited lead producer/engineer Roger Lima (who also plays bass in Less Than Jake) as well as co-producer Mike Kennerty (who plays guitar in some band called The All-American Rejects) and recorded the album at Lima's studio, The Moat House in Gainesville, Florida.

Sylar - “Shook!”
Sylar have announced their Spring 2019 tour plans. The band will hit the road on a headline run with Varials, GroundCulture, and a special guest to be named later. The trek runs from April 18 through June 1. All Sylar tour dates and ticket info can be found HERE.
The band has also dropped the video for the new single "SHOOK!." In the clip, the band engages in an intense and spirited game of... dodgeball.

While She Sleeps - “The Guilty Party”
While She Sleeps have shared the new single "The Guilty Party." The song is a genre-morphing acclamation — fueled by riffs, electronics, visceral vocals, the purest of melodies, and the ultimate gang vocals in collaboration with an actual choir.
Choral elements and rich harmonies feature all over the Sheffield band's forthcoming album SO WHAT?, out March 1 via their own Sleeps Brothers label via Spinefarm. The band even enlisted a live choir for a very special performance on its upcoming European tour.
